Timeless Masterpiece
I should start this review by saying that this watch was a gift for me six years ago, and was purchased at a jeweler's rather than here on Amazon.com.
Raymond Weil is meticulous with quality and attention to detail. I have only had to replace the battery once! This sapphire crystal watch is Swiss made, and it shows. It oozes quality. The square casing is perfect for any formal occasion, and is timeless. Watch styles may come and go, but this watch will always be fancy and fashionable. The face has a wavy reflective design, and screams sophisticated yet subtle.
Yes, it is water resistant but I obviously don't go swimming with it; the resistance suffices for everyday occurrences (ie. washing my hands and getting stuck in the rain). Minor scratches have happened but you have to really be looking to be able to see them on the finish. By the way, the band is also stainless steel and the links have a cool alternating brushed metal finish.
